About Elmwood Park
Elmwood Park, in Bergen County, New Jersey, was previously known as East Paterson, but in 1973, a major township decision was reached by residents to change the name to Elmwood Park. Dundee Lake that was located in Saddle River is now part of Elmwood Park. Major roadways such as Route 4, Route 46, Interstate 80, and the Garden State Parkway all serve the Elmwood Park community. Cornelius A. Cadmus represented New Jersey’s 5th congressional district from 1891- 1895, was a notable resident of Elmwood Park.
